Coming off a great event where Nick "The Goat" Thompson got a recent win, Lacey and Randall Shuckman are set to be the first couple to compete in the same MMA event.
History will be made on April 12th, 2008 at the TUFF-N-UFF Amateur Fighting Championships at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino located in the heart of Las Vegas. Lacey Whitlatch had her first amateur fight on TUFF-N-UFF's PRO/AM show and is looking forward to come back to fight for TUFF-N-UFF.
Her last fight she had the MMA icon, "Big" John McCarthy working as referee for her fight.
She is now scheduled to fight Katie "The Shuriken" Tompkins fighting out of Five Dragons Martial Arts in Santa Rosa, CA. Katie holds a Black belt in Kempo Karate and is anxious to make her MMA debut.Lacey (now Schuckman) married her childhood sweetheart, Randall Shuckman that will be taking on David Good.Both men reside in nearby Colorado and they have wanted to fight for a long time. The Shuckman's have wanted to fight on the same card for a long time and hope to be victorious.
This is also a major 1st as it is a "ammy" show in Vegas, not something they were allowing before.
