Some people complain about the editing being like The Contender, focusing on manager's reactions and not showing a second for second account of the fight. Some people have mentioned the dialogue is somewhat new to what an average Frank Mir or Rich Franklin interview would sound like. However, the show is something new and while it will likely not be the example of MMA most often featured on CNN, 60 Minutes and CNBC, it does not need to be neglected.
Here are a few reasons to keep watching:
- Shonie carter is called a pool call kid by Floyd Mayweather.
- Floyd correctly says a fight was just in being stopped. For the sake of sounding hardcore or TV drama, Shonie disagrees.
- Lil Jon pretends to know about the sport and pretends to be alright sitting within earshot of Shonie.
- Fans of the sport will appreciate Goldberg the wrestler more as a commentator because he at least does not comment fighters look like they are having sexual relations as do several people on the Iron Ring Show.
